ENRA
ENRA is the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ (RMI) quarterly individual support distribution to eligible Marshallese citizens. Distributions began in November 2025 and are set to continue for the next two decades on a quarterly basis.
ENRA is one of the most direct expressions of the RMI’s commitment to its people, providing quarterly benefit transfers to citizens on every inhabited island, from Ebon to Enewotok, and from Mili to Bokak.
The ENRA program is administered under the statutory authority of the Marshall Islands Social Security Administration (MISSA). MISSA remains ENRA’s sole system of record for eligibility, enrollment and benefit entitlements. The Ministry of Finance provides fiscal oversight, including approval of all methods through which appropriated funds are delivered.
Marshallese families and communities have a long history of providing for one another across atolls and generations. ENRA carries this tradition forward, reaching every eligible citizen and – through them – the households and communities they sustain.
How Citizens Receive ENRA
Eligible citizens can select how they would prefer to receive their ENRA distributions based on their individual circumstances and needs. Approved methods include:
- Direct deposits (ACH) to an account at an RMI-regulated bank
- Physical checks issued by MISSA
- Digital disbursements through the Lomalo citizen wallet*
These three distribution channels are MISSA-approved methods to receive disbursements. Citizens can select the format best suited to their personal circumstances. No citizen is required to enroll in digital disbursements and no benefits are contingent on doing so. Direct deposits and physical checks remain fully available options at all times. Citizens who opt-in to receive digital disbursements may opt-out from that method at any time without any penalties or loss of benefits.
